UT Men’s Golf Signs Four
University of Texas head men's golf coach John Fields announced the signings of a South African and three Texans to National Letters of Intent: Dylan Frittelli (Pretoria, South Africa), Devin Miertschin (El Paso, Texas/Hanks HS), Alex Moon (Plano, Texas/Plano West HS) and Brett Spencer (Plano, Texas/Plano West HS).
Frittelli won the 2007 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship last summer in San Diego, California, at the Torrey Pines Golf Course, site of the 2008 U.S. Open. He ranks as the top junior player in South Africa.
Miertschin is the highest-ranked high school senior in Texas and has won the last three Texas UIL District 1-5A Championships.
